The gas filter can be connected direcly to a gas bottle with a SHELL connection. To the outlet of the filter a pressure regulator with SHELL connection (G.12) can be fitted.

The filter is used to block particles such as sand and iron, but when used for vapour gas it also blocks fats and parafinnes.

Suitable for LPG (Propane & Butane) high pressure (until max. 26 bar)

Usage: The filter has a one way flow direction. This means it should only be used when draining gas from the bootle and not for filling of the bottle.

Replace the internal filter element (KN-701 REPAIR KIT) after 2 years usage or after 2000 hours of usage.

NB!

Place the filter in the correct position so that the detachable cup is at the bottom and the pipe connections and fixing points are at the top. In this way, the filter works best and dirt and paraffin (fats and oils) are well captured and remain there. The filter is used in the high-pressure range (i.e. after the gas bottle / vapor tank and before the pressure regulator). Pay attention to the flow direction. This is indicated by an arrow on the gas filter.
The internal filter element must be replaced with a new filter element after 800 liters (measured in liquid LPG litres). Clean the inside of the filter housing with a degreasing agent, such as brake cleaner. Make sure the system is completely depressurized before disconnecting and opening the high pressure filter to replace the filter element.
