High-pressure LPG filter F-701-B with SHELL Female G.12 x G.12 Male - Straight connections

This type of gas filter is often used on gas bottles with a Shell connection in Vapour gas applications such as in Campers, Caravans, Food Trucks, Patio etc.

Application: Gas filter for the outlet of gas bottles in vapour gas applications (Camper, Caravan, Patio, Food Truck etc.)

Gas filtration: This type of LPG filter is often used in campers and caravans to capture paraffin (fats and oils) and other liquid contaminants or solid particles (e.g., sand or iron), preventing them from entering the pressure regulator and system components. The filter is suitable for both high and low gas pressures.

Use : The filter operates in one direction. This means that in practice, the filter is only used when drawing gas from the cylinder and not when filling the cylinder.

The filter can be screwed directly onto the gas cylinder, and the gas pressure regulator is connected to the filter outlet, protecting your gas appliances. The filter blocks particles such as sand, iron, and some grease and paraffin (if vapor passes through the filter).

Suitable for high pressure LPG (Propane & Butane) (up to max. 26 bar)

NOTE! Place the filter in the correct position, with the removable cup at the bottom and the pipe connections and mounting points at the top. This ensures optimal filter performance, effectively trapping dirt and paraffin (fats and oils) and keeping them there. The filter is used in the high-pressure path (i.e., after the gas cylinder/vapor tank and before the pressure regulator). Pay attention to the flow direction, which is indicated by an arrow on the gas filter.
The internal filter element should be replaced with a new one after 800 liters (measured in liquid LPG). Clean the inside of the filter housing with a degreasing agent, such as brake cleaner. Ensure the system is completely depressurized before disconnecting and opening the high-pressure filter to replace the filter element.

CAUTION! Make sure the system is completely depressurized before disconnecting and opening the high-pressure filter to replace the filter element.

TIP! Replace the filter element every 800 liters of LPG to prevent blockages and unnecessary contamination.
