Double LPG Filling Kit 1/2" UNF - W21,8 Filling Point with 4m LPG pipe and connectors for 2x LPG-Tanks or 2x Gas Bottles

For filling 2x LPG gas tank or 2x Gas bottle with a coupling for a 80% fill stop (1/2" UNF). Ideal for in your car, camper or caravan. LPG pipe length to be used up to a maximum of 4 meters (to be shortened as desired).

This filling set with outer filler can be connected to 2x gas tanks with a 80% fill stop with a 3/4 UNF connection, so that you can safely fill your gas bottles. (Only use gas bottles with 80% fill protection).

The filling connection (W21,8 Filler) is standard equipped with the supplied Bayonet filling nipple. This allows you to fill in the Netherlands / UK. You can connect optional foreign filler nipples with W21.8 thread to the flat filler.

Make the Thermoplastic LPG pipe to the desired length and neatly shorten the ends without kinking the pipe. (Piping must remain nicely round).

Slide the OETIKER hose clamp over the LPG pipe.

Apply a little creeping oil to the O-rings of the couplings before sliding the LPG pipe over the coupler.

Seal the connection well by properly clamping the OETIKER hose clamp.

Application: Filling various types of LPG tanks (4-hole LPG tank / MultiValve tank (Ø8mm) / Vapor tanks / gas bottles).

The filling line makes a connection from the outer filling connection to the LPG tank. Choose the required length and connectors for your application.

Do you prefer to use a filling hose with fixed couplings? Then look here.
For various filling connections, look here.
If you also want to be able to fill in other countries, look here.

A plastic LPG pipe is not connected directly to an LPG part, but coupling pieces are used on the ends of the pipe. These come in different shapes and sizes. There are also several types of plastic LPG pipe available. There are different diameters, but also brands and types of connectors. Make sure you use the correct one for your application in combination with the correct coupling pieces on the ends of the plastic pipe.

The plastic pipe can be shortened to the desired length. Use a good sharp hose cutter or else a cutter for this. Cut the pipe neatly straight.

Check the type of connection on the parts to which you want to connect the LPG pipe, such as the tank, gas valves, etc.

This type of pipe uses Ø8 mm compression connections and therefore only fits on parts with such a type of connection.

General safety advice for LPG Pipe:

- The LPG pipe may not be placed close to heat sources (for example an exhaust pipe). Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm. Or use a heat shield.
- The LPG pipe may not be placed lower than the lowest point of the vehicle. In other words: At a distance of 15 cm from the pipe, there must always be a fixed part of the vehicle lower down. This rule prevents the pipe from touching the road surface.
- LPG pipe must be attached to non-moving (fixed) parts of the vehicle by means of pipe brackets. The maximum mutual distance between the pipe brackets must not exceed 40 cm.
- Consult the RDW rules for the exact and other guidelines.

The corresponding Terminal couplings fit most 8mm compression connections of evaporators, gas valves, multivalves, quick-closing valves, etc.

But there are also associated terminal couplings that fit on an electric tank extraction valve or filling connections.

Outer diameter pipe connector: Ø8mm

Outer diameter of plastic gas pipe: ≈ Ø12.3mm

Inner diameter plastic gas pipe: ≈ Ø8mm

Instead of copper pipe, plastic pipe is nowadays used with various advantages such as flexibility and that it does not kink quickly. To be able to connect the plastic pipe to another part, just as you would with a copper pipe, it is necessary to connect an end piece (coupling piece) of that type of pipe, which in turn is fitted with a Ø8 mm pipe (just like a copper pipe).

Suitable for: LPG 4-Hole Tanks (Vapor Tanks) and LPG Tanks with Multivale 8mm connection (outlet) and gas ash whistles and evaporators etc with 8mm compression connection.

General safety advice for LPG:

     - Always keep the gas bottle upright.
     - Do not drop the gas bottle from your vehicle as it may damage the bottle or the couplings.
     - Do not store the gas bottle in the vicinity of an open flame.
     - Do not use or store below ground level. Leaked gas will accumulate at a low level.
     - The storage must be well ventilated, preferably outside.
     - Do not use any tools to open the tap.
     - Check the hoses regularly and see if the cylinder is properly secured. If the hoses are damaged or show signs of wear, replace the hoses (use the correct quality hoses).

Please note that in some countries (Italy and a number of former Eastern Block countries) selfservice LPG refueling is not permitted. This may only be done by the authorized personnel at the gas station. Ask for the rules of each country where you want to refuel.

Note: Filling may be only permitted at and by authorized filling stations.
