NOT SUITABLE FOR traditional mixing piece (venturi) gas systems.

Prins has limited the number of different types of evaporators by equipping all evaporators with a MAP connection as standard.

For turbocharged cars, a MAP connection with MAP sensor is highly recommended. With naturally aspirated engines the MAP connection is not used as standard and should be left open and will function as a vent hole.

To prevent dirt and moisture from entering the MAP connection, we recommend connecting a piece of hose (ø5mm) to the MAP connection and pointing it downwards.

Prins has reduced the reducers versions -> all reducers now standard have a MAP connection.

Turbo engines should use the MAP connection as well as the MAP sensor. Normally aspirated engines do not need to use the MAP connection and can be left open. It will function now as a breather hole.

To prevent dirt and moisture entering the reducer, we recommend connecting a ø5mm hose with some length to the MAP connection and pointing the other end downwards.
